Fiveloaves Twofish Clothing

Okay, we  just sent out 127 over sized postcards to boutiques all over the country, especially on the east coast to prepare for the ENK Children’s Club (www.ENKSHOWS.COM//CHILDRENSCLUB) in New York  on Aug. 1-3.  We have been assigned Booth 1934 and it is little.  We are going to have be really creative with our space.  I personally think this is definitely Kit’s job.  My plan is to just show up and have every thing be perfect! (in my dreams only I am sure) Oh well, other than the stress of designing the booth, the collection is coming together beautifully.  Kit is finishing up the very famous “hula skirts” in all new fabrics and I am working on deep burgundy silk tiered Emma dresses for Holiday. 

Isa, one of our wonderful interns has become the “simply Emma” girl.  In the last week we have had so many orders for this dress, poor thing every time she finishes one a new one is ordered.  We have changed her name to “Emma”.

Lindsey, also one of our wonderful interns, addressed and mailed all those postcards, way to go!!!  Knowing Kit and I they would never have gotten out otherwise!  Especially, since tonite I have to put on a “sleepover” birthday party for my nine year old.  Nine year old boys sleeping over all night, that’s going be fun!  New York may actually feel like a vacation compared to life as a mom!

Life is getting awfully busy at the design house.  Not only are we preparing for the New York Market in Aug, also preparing our entire collection for Julie Smith (our new Los Angeles Rep) but we have been asked to be in Leonard Simpson’s “Haute with Heart” charity fashion show.  Many of you may know who he is.  He is San Diego’s own KUSI’s “Style Guy.”   We will be completely responsible for our portion of the production which will include both women and girls.  We are very excitied because we will be the only children’s line showcased and our very own fiveloaves girls will  be in the show.

To pull this off we need your help!  The girls portion of the show will have 12 looks and we do not have enough models on hand.  We prefer to pull models from our costumer base so all you fiveloaves girls out there between the ages/sizes 4-8 come into the design house for an audition.  We need our girls to represent our label!!

Besides preparing for New York, the LA Markets, and “Haute with Heart” fashion show Kit is getting married.  Thus, we are also planning a wedding spectacular that will make fiveloaves very proud.  In fact, if you are the least bit curious about the dresses, they will be featured in the “Haute with Heart” show.  Those of you that love them do not fret it is a sneak peak of the fall collection!
